Job description
Role purpose
This position is focused on sourcing and shaping investment opportunities for a family office. The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with business owners, investors, advisers, financial institutions, and strategic partners to build a healthy deal pipeline and help expand the family office’s investment platform.
Core responsibilities
The role covers opportunity origination, relationship building, and transaction support.
- Source and identify potential investments across selected sectors and markets.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and live opportunities.
- Develop trusted connections with business owners, entrepreneurs, and strategic partners.
- Spot off-market or early-stage opportunities before they become widely available.
- Act as an external representative of the family office.
- Build and manage relationships with investors, advisers, family offices, and financial institutions.
- Create partnerships that strengthen and support the investment strategy.
- Assist in assessing investment opportunities and their commercial merits.
- Support negotiation discussions and wider transaction conversations.
- Work closely with internal teams and external parties throughout the investment process.

The ideal professional is commercially minded, well connected, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders. The role suits someone with an entrepreneurial outlook, strong communication and influence skills, and a clear drive for career progression.
Essential experience and qualifications
- Prior work experience in Qatar is required.
- A strong professional network within Qatar is essential.
- Between 10 and 17 years of experience is expected.
- Evidence of generating opportunities and making valuable introductions.
- Background in investment, private equity, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, or a commercial function.
- Proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
- Experience supporting commercial negotiations and transactions.
Desirable experience and qualifications
- Previous exposure to family office environments.
- An established international investment network, ideally including Europe.
- Experience in capital raising or investor relations.
- Exposure to real estate investment.
- Experience working with entrepreneurs, founders, or family-owned businesses.
- International investment or transaction experience.
