Role overview
This position is responsible for guiding the finance function across a family office and its investment portfolio. It combines day-to-day financial management with support for investment decisions, governance, and strategic planning, while working closely with the CEO and the investment team.
Core responsibilities
The finance manager will own key planning, control, reporting, and advisory activities, with a strong focus on supporting growth, disciplined decision-making, and effective oversight.
Financial leadership
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning processes.
- Oversee cash management, treasury operations, and day-to-day liquidity requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and reporting structures.
- Handle financial reporting for the family office and related entities.
Investment support
- Assist in assessing and screening potential investment opportunities.
- Build financial models, conduct valuation work, and perform detailed analysis.
- Support transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, and other strategic initiatives.
- Track and evaluate the financial performance of portfolio investments.
Governance and advisory
- Serve as a reliable advisor to the CEO on financial and commercial matters.
- Contribute to strategic planning and broader business decisions.
- Manage ongoing interactions with banks, auditors, and other external professionals.

- Background in finance leadership is necessary.
- Exposure to investments and transactions is required.
- Strong capability in financial modelling and analytical work is important.
- Experience contributing to acquisitions, investments, or strategic projects is needed.
Desirable experience
- Previous family office exposure would be an advantage.
- Real estate investment experience is preferred.
