MatchBox Consulting Group is hiring an experienced Organizational Change Manager to support a major ERP transformation for a leading energy company. This is an 18-month contract centered on planning and delivering change management efforts that help multiple business units and stakeholder groups, including senior executives, adopt new ways of working successfully.

You'll work within an established change management framework and collaborate closely with project teams, HR, and business leaders to drive change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, communications, learning plans, adoption activities, and long-term sustainment.

What you'll do

  • Create and deliver change management strategies for a large ERP transformation program.
  • Carry out stakeholder mapping, change impact reviews, organizational readiness checks, and risk assessments.
  • Build detailed change plans for each workstream, covering communications, learning, coaching, sponsorship, and resistance handling.
  • Run engagement activities with stakeholders at every level, including senior leadership.
  • Work with HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and business partners to design integrated change solutions.
  • Coach project teams, sponsors, managers, and leaders on change leadership and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, communications, and other change deliverables.
  • Track readiness, adoption, and change effectiveness, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage change-related risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities across several initiatives.
  • Support sustainment planning so new processes and operating practices become embedded.
  • Help improve organizational change management methods and best practices over time.

Must-have qualifications

  • A university degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, or a similar field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience leading organizational change management work.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large ERP implementations or enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  • Strong background in stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, readiness assessment, and adoption planning.
  • Experience building communication, training, coaching, and engagement strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a complex and fast-moving environment.
  • Based in Calgary and able to work on a hybrid schedule.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prosci or another organizational change management certification.
  • A master's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), operations, or utility organizations.
  • Background in multi-year transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with structured change management approaches and continuous improvement practices.
