Role Overview

The Organisational Change Management Specialist will be part of the IT Customer Success and Enablement (CSE) team, which aims to enhance internal customer satisfaction and technology adoption within Gilead. This role focuses on managing the human element of change associated with business processes, systems, and technologies. You will collaborate with IT and business partners to design and implement change initiatives that drive organizational value and meet defined objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support change management plans across various IT projects and technological transformations.
  • Embed consistent change management practices and tools within project deliveries, including conducting readiness assessments, targeted surveys, and early adopter programs.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies in alignment with strategic goals, involving coordination with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Create, review, and disseminate clear and effective communications as part of IT CSE initiatives.
  • Identify risks and resistance areas, collaborating with stakeholders to devise mitigation actions.
  • Assist in formulating comprehensive change plans that encompass communications, sponsor engagement, leadership coaching, learning programs, and measurement methods.
  • Monitor adoption levels, usage, and user competency, promoting ongoing enhancements to tracking mechanisms.
  • Promote reinforcement initiatives, including acknowledging and celebrating achievements.
  • Undertake other related tasks to support the IT CSE team’s objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree coupled with experience in organizational change management, project management, or communications within a technology-driven environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of organizational change impacts both internally and externally.
  • Familiarity with established change management frameworks such as ADKAR; Prosci certification is an advantage.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Analytical mindset and sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and influence others constructively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, and knowledge of AI applications.
