About Geological Survey of India (GSI)
GSI, a Government of India field-based organization, is inviting applications for the position of Ordinary Grade Driver. This role involves supporting field operations by providing transportation services to various project teams across multiple regions.

- Pay Scale: Level 2, ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (7th CPC)
- Regional Vacancies Distribution: Nagpur - 9, Pune - 3, Raipur - 3, Jabalpur - 3, Bhopal - 3
Role and Responsibilities
Drivers will be expected to operate vehicles both at the headquarters and in field or remote areas, accompanying field parties to designated sites within various regional jurisdictions.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through an open competitive examination which includes a practical trade test and a written test.
