About the Role
Hyatt Place Al Ula is hiring a guest-oriented Order Taker for In-Room Dining to join the launch team. This opening is part of a major phase in Hyatt’s growth in the region and the property will include 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, a swimming pool, and a fitness center serving both leisure and business guests.
Role Summary
In this position, you will manage in-room dining requests with accuracy and speed, deliver high-quality guest interaction, and help create a smooth dining experience for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and process in-room dining requests received by phone and other approved communication methods.
- Share clear details with guests about menu offerings, promotions, and available dining choices.
- Enter guest orders correctly into the POS system and make sure every request is captured properly.
- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to keep preparation and delivery on schedule.
- Track order progress and follow up to meet service quality and delivery time expectations.
- Respond to guest questions, custom requests, and dietary needs in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Keep accurate documentation of orders, payments, and guest preferences.
- Help address guest issues and escalate concerns when required.
- Follow hotel service standards, operational guidelines, and hygiene rules at all times.
- Assist with pre-opening in-room dining setup and readiness activities.
Qualifications
Applicants should have prior exposure to food and beverage service, in-room dining, call center work, or hospitality operations. The role calls for strong guest service skills, confident telephone communication, sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards, and the ability to juggle multiple orders in a busy environment. Attention to detail, organization, coordination ability, a positive attitude, a professional presence, and excellent English communication are important for success.
