Overview

This opportunity is for an Operations Manager in Ireland, offered through a partner employer that handles the application review and hiring steps. The role suits a results-oriented operations leader who performs well in fast-moving, metrics-led settings.

You will lead and shape online teams with a strong emphasis on ownership, performance, and accountability. The role calls for confident decision-making, including choices related to hiring, employee performance, team structure, and exits when needed.

Success in this position depends on using dashboards, performance data, and operational systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and service standards. You will also spend a significant part of your time training, mentoring, and developing team members so they can perform at a high level.

In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to simplify processes and improve execution across the business. This is a practical leadership role where results are measured by team output and operational impact.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the entire agent lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, development, performance reviews, and exit decisions.
  • Build, lead, and support remote or online agent teams.
  • Take responsibility for daily operations and keep workflows running efficiently.
  • Run training, coaching, and review sessions on a regular basis.
  • Address escalations and resolve operational challenges promptly.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to improve systems and processes.
  • Apply data, KPIs, dashboards, and other performance tools to guide improvements and decisions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has strong operational leadership experience, preferably with remote or online teams, and is comfortable making decisions based on performance data. You should be analytical, accountable, and able to communicate clearly while maintaining high standards.

  • At least 3 years of experience in operations management or a comparable leadership position.
  • Background in leading remote or online, agent-based teams.
  • Direct experience with hiring, training, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Strong ability to read and act on KPIs and dashboard insights.
  • Working knowledge of CRMs, operational platforms, and automation tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong ownership mindset and confidence in making difficult performance-related decisions.
