Operations Manager – HVAC, Kitchen Duct & Hood Cleaning and Maintenance

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Division Manager to lead our HVAC, Kitchen Duct, and Exhaust Hood Cleaning and Maintenance division based in Doha, Qatar. Reporting to the General Manager, this role demands strategic oversight of all operational aspects, project management, team leadership, regulatory compliance, and driving business growth with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Professional certifications in HVAC, Facilities Management, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Holding a valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in HVAC, kitchen exhaust duct cleaning, facilities management, or allied services.
• Minimum 1 year in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated track record in operational management roles.
• Experience working within Qatar or GCC regions will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational activities related to HVAC cleaning, kitchen exhaust duct and hood cleaning, and maintenance services.
• Plan and monitor projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Optimize resource utilization including manpower and equipment.
• Control project budgets and oversee cost management.
• Implement best operational practices to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise operational and supervisory staff.
• Set performance targets and conduct evaluations consistently.
• Instill safety awareness, professionalism, and foster continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members for leadership growth.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Approve method statements, risk assessments, and procedural documentation.
• Provide expert guidance on HVAC and kitchen exhaust systems and preventive maintenance approaches.
• Stay abreast of sector trends, innovative technologies, and best practices.
• Enforce compliance with Qatar's health, safety, and environmental laws.
• Roll out and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies.
• Conduct regular audits and site inspections to maintain high quality standards.
• Investigate incidents diligently and implement corrective measures.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proficient in business development and negotiation.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and kitchen exhaust cleaning and maintenance methodologies.
• Expertise in project management and organizational skills.
• Financial acumen with ability to manage commercial aspects.
• Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP/Facility Management platforms.
