Job description
Role overview
This is a field-based Operations Manager position with a fast-scaling K-beauty retail brand in the London area, with regular travel across the UK. The business is already operating a successful retail network, along with ecommerce and wholesale partnerships with major UK retailers, and is now looking for someone to help strengthen operations as it expands.
The position is well suited to an ambitious retail leader who wants broader exposure across a growing business. It could be a strong fit for someone currently leading a flagship store, managing several sites, or working in a cluster, area, or regional retail structure.
What you'll do
- Help improve day-to-day performance across a portfolio of retail stores
- Guide, support, and inspire Store Managers and their teams
- Raise sales performance, team productivity, and customer service standards
- Track and improve retail KPIs such as sales, conversion, and labour efficiency
- Keep operations consistent and standards high across all stores
- Support the launch of new stores and wider expansion work
- Spot process improvements and recommend better ways of working
- Work closely with senior leaders to support ongoing business growth
- Travel frequently throughout the UK to work with store teams
Who we're looking for
The employer is open to candidates with experience in beauty, cosmetics, lifestyle retail, premium retail, fashion retail, or other fast-growing consumer brands. Previous K-beauty experience is welcome, but it is not a requirement.
The right candidate will likely bring strong retail leadership experience, a record of delivering commercial outcomes, and exposure to managing a flagship store, multiple stores, a cluster, or a regional team. You should also be comfortable coaching others, managing operations effectively, and leading in a hands-on, proactive way. Regular UK travel is an important part of the role.
Growth and benefits
- Opportunity to join a fast-growing retail business at a key stage of its expansion
- Clear progression prospects as the company scales
- Close collaboration with founders and senior leadership
- Chance to influence the future direction of the retail operation
- Experience across retail, ecommerce, and wholesale channels
- High visibility and immediate impact from the start
Expansion plans
The business has several new store openings planned over the next 12 to 18 months, creating a rare chance to join early and contribute to the next phase of growth.
Additional information
This role offers a salary of up to £50,000. It is a full-time, onsite position based in the London area with frequent UK travel.
