Operations Manager - Aluminium & Glass Manufacturing

We are searching for an experienced Operations Manager proficient in managing multidisciplinary teams and driving operational excellence within the aluminium, glass, or construction sectors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities encompassing aluminium fabrication, glass processing, cutting, machining, assembly, and glazing tasks.
• Create and oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow improvements to ensure timely completion of multiple projects.
• Uphold rigorous quality control and assurance standards throughout all production stages.
• Implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for factory machinery, CNC equipment, and production lines.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project teams to guarantee timely delivery and installation of fabricated components such as windows, curtain walls, doors, and skylights at construction sites.
• Manage site logistics, installation practices, snagging resolution, rectifications, and project handover adhering to consultant and developer specifications.
• Serve as the main operations point of contact for construction firms, property developers, main contractors, and consultant teams, including attending site meetings and progress assessments to synchronize production with project milestones.
• Handle operational and technical client inquiries to facilitate seamless project management.
• Oversee procurement planning, raw material inventory management for aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, gaskets, and sealants, plus finished goods storage.
• Optimize inventory to reduce waste and avoid production delays while supporting just-in-time deliveries to sites.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction safety laws, Dubai Municipality mandates, Civil Defence codes, and industry norms.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental policies across factory operations and active installation areas.
• Lead and develop diverse teams including production supervisors, factory operators, site foremen, logistics staff, and quality control inspectors.
• Manage budgets, control production expenditures, minimize material waste, and champion continuous operational improvements.
• Provide senior management with detailed reports on key performance indicators, project updates, and resource requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
• Have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience predominantly in Operations, Production, or Plant Management.
• Demonstrate a solid background in Aluminium and Glass manufacturing, Façade/Cladding, or the Construction industry.
• Possess strong technical knowledge of aluminium fabrication, glass processes, glazing systems, and building envelope solutions like curtain walls and doors.
• Experienced in managing both factory production workflows and on-site installation coordination.
• Have prior interaction with UAE or GCC construction companies, developers, contractors, and consultants.
• Skilled in leading multicultural teams across various operational environments.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and ERP or production planning tools.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Well-versed in engineering drawings, manufacturing procedures, and project delivery mechanics.
• Hold a valid driving license; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
