Role Overview and Key Objectives

In the position of Operations Finance Manager, you will establish modern controlling processes for our supply chain while acting as a trusted business partner to the Operations Management Team. Your primary mission will be to enhance transparency, optimize inventory control, and integrate financial insights into operational decisions.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of inventory valuation and continuously improve inventory control mechanisms.
• Develop clarity on stock levels, product movements, and their financial impacts.
• Analyze vital supply chain and operations KPIs such as inventory, cost of goods sold, logistics expenses, and forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams, contributing financial viewpoints to operational strategies.
• Support budget planning, forecasting, and routine financial operations.
• Create dashboards and reporting structures, refining key performance indicators over time.
• Prepare business cases for operational choices including suppliers, logistics frameworks, and inventory strategies.
• Identify cost-saving and working capital enhancement opportunities throughout the value chain.

Candidate Profile and Experience

• Completed academic studies in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in controlling, operations finance, supply chain analytics, or consulting.
• Familiarity with inventory management, cost structures, or operational KPIs is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset, adept at working with data and presenting complex information clearly.
• Organized, independent worker able to maintain focus in dynamic environments.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets with confident numerical skills.
• Experience or willingness to quickly learn BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Preferably has used ERP or financial systems.
• Keen interest in data analysis, reporting, and KPI development.
