About the Role
The KidStrong Operations Assistant and Youth Coach at the Parker center serves as the second-in-command, closely collaborating with the General Manager to cultivate a learning environment for coaches and families while achieving critical business objectives such as sales growth and member retention. This role combines leadership, operational management, coaching, and sales activities to deliver a high-quality experience for children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of center financials and key performance indicators to make sound business decisions.
- Build strong relationships with families, aligning with KidStrong's core values to provide outstanding customer service.
- Manage center operations including facility maintenance, training adherence, and ensuring brand consistency.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and upkeep tasks within the center.
- Work a schedule generally consisting of four weekdays and one weekend shift, with hours adjusted to center needs.
- Coordinate coach scheduling changes through designated communication platforms.
- Drive event sales such as camps and parties to boost center revenue.
- Maintain rigorous lead management by conducting call campaigns to nurture new and existing prospects in the CRM system.
- Complete sales and bookings stemming from online registrations.
- Represent KidStrong at community events to enhance brand visibility and foster lead generation.
- Promote a coaching culture by providing feedback and support, assessing staff using the KidStrong Coach DNA profile.
- Support coach professional development through the LearnUpon platform.
- Maintain professional communication via Slack and email, including monitoring messages when off-site.
- Deliver coaching sessions for children approximately from walking age to 11 years old, focusing on brain, physical, and character development.
- Comprehend and clearly explain the rationale behind the KidStrong curriculum.
- Implement programming with accuracy, recording attendance and awards using the KS Coaches App.
- Physically engage with children during coaching, ensuring safe techniques and safety standards.
- Provide 5 to 10 hours of coaching weekly, handling equipment and the demands of a physically active environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience or background in athletics or coaching kids aged 15 months to 11 years; genuine passion for working with children is essential.
- Successful completion of Coach Certification through the headquarters training and certification process.
- Completion of required LearnUpon training modules.
- Preferred but not mandatory experience as a pediatric occupational or physical therapist.
- Managerial experience is advantageous but not required.
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft software platforms.
- Familiarity with management and CRM systems such as Glofox, HubSpot, Google Suite, and Podium is beneficial.
- Intermediate knowledge of human physiology, exercise methods, and body mechanics.
- Must have CPR certification.

Additional Information
- Salary is $22.00 per hour.
- The franchise operates independently; all hiring decisions and inquiries should be directed to the local Parker center.
