Operations Analyst (Insurance | Excel VBA | Up to $5k)

The Opportunity

Role Overview

This position focuses on insurance operations support, with responsibility across payment handling, distributor requests, reporting automation, and coordination with internal teams. It also involves helping improve processes and supporting project and user acceptance testing activities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle compensation activities for distribution channels, including ad hoc payment requests.
• Make sure payments are completed accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve operational workflows and efficiency.
• Create and refine working templates and reports through Microsoft Excel and VBA.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to settle payment-related questions and issues.
• Take part in projects and UAT assignments as required.
• Act as the main contact for distributor income statement requests and process them within SLA.
• Complete other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and VBA.
• Prior exposure to automation and workflow enhancement is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder coordination.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage several priorities in a busy environment.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
