Join the team at HMP Isle of Wight as an Operational Support Grade, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily functions of a busy prison facility. This varied role blends administrative tasks with physical duties, including security checks, visitor supervision, and monitoring surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the operational support team, you will be responsible for conducting security and search procedures at the entrance, managing incoming deliveries, overseeing visitor activities, and supervising telephone and CCTV monitoring. Additional duties include physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and escorting vehicles across the prison compound. Driving is an essential element of this role, necessitating a valid UK driving licence.
