The partner seeks experienced online teachers located in Germany to provide high-quality, personalized education for secondary-level learners. This role offers a flexible, remote teaching opportunity focused on IAS Economics aligned with Cambridge curricula. It involves one-on-one online instruction designed to meet individual student learning preferences and academic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tailored, engaging one-on-one IAS Economics lessons based on Cambridge standards in a fully virtual format.
- Modify teaching approaches, strategies, and digital tools to suit each student’s unique learning style and goals.
- Regularly evaluate student progress, give timely constructive feedback, and update lesson plans to enhance outcomes.
- Create structured course timetables, lesson plans, assignments, exams, and other educational materials.
- Lead interactive online classes with a professional and supportive atmosphere using virtual teaching platforms.
- Organize course content, assignments, and assessments within an LMS to ensure smooth learning management.
- Assist in developing teaching resources that improve learning experiences for current and prospective students.
- Be available to deliver lessons during Australian Eastern Standard Time from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday, scheduling multiple one-hour sessions weekly.
Candidate Requirements
- At least five years of formal classroom teaching experience for students in Levels/Form 7-13 (tutoring alone does not qualify).
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Economics or a related field.
- Deep understanding of Cambridge, Edexcel, or A-Level Economics syllabi and examination criteria.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, capable of fostering positive connections with students and families.
- Familiarity and confidence with online teaching platforms and virtual lesson delivery.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills adapted to an online setting.
- Possession of teaching credentials such as teaching licenses, education degrees, or postgraduate certifications is advantageous.
- Prior experience in online education is preferred.
- A genuine passion for personalized education and dedication to helping students excel academically.
