About the Role
You are already managing your own Instagram or TikTok. You intuitively know what makes a Reel succeed or fail—not from seminars, but through personal experimentation. You have a keen sense for editing, timing, and current trends. This instinct is exactly what we're looking for.
We are an independent, data-driven media agency that believes an agency should craft its own content as well as it does for clients. Together, we'll develop the outward-facing presence of RFM MediaMix AG through authentic formats that audiences want to watch voluntarily.
A significant part of your time will be devoted to content creation. Additionally, you'll engage with performance marketing—a domain where you'll grow considerably—learning how a single post can transform into an effective campaign, and how to not only generate but also manage reach. If you have previously promoted a post or analyzed your metrics, you already have a good foundation.
Simply put: you will do what you already love while evolving into the realm of online marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and produce social media content for our own channels including Reels, TikToks, and Stories, managing the process from initial hook to final cut.
- Transform trending ideas into formats that fit our brand rather than merely following trends. You are comfortable both in front of and behind the camera—conceptualizing, filming, editing, and publishing.
- Gradually familiarize yourself with performance marketing by setting up campaigns, running ads, interpreting data, and drawing actionable insights, working with real budgets instead of simulations.
- Contribute your own innovative ideas on integrating content and performance marketing, leveraging your insider understanding of what motivates user engagement.
- Possibly develop unique content formats for our clients if interested and qualified.
Qualifications
- Currently studying Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related fields.
- Active operator of a social media channel, deeply understanding platform mechanics such as algorithms, formats, sounds, and timing. Possess an intuitive sense of aesthetics, visual language, and editing.
- Proactive mindset; you take initiative rather than wait for instructions. Independence is encouraged.
- Experience or initial ideas in performance marketing are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluent in German with a strong sense of tone.
