Online Adjunct Faculty – Distance Learning – College of Education

About the Role

Join Grand Canyon University as an online adjunct faculty member in the College of Education, contributing to the success of students pursuing bachelor’s and master's degrees in education areas such as early childhood, elementary, secondary education, TESOL, and special education. This online position focuses on delivering instructional content related to distance learning using innovative methods and current technological tools, helping shape future teachers and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly main discussion forums to actively engage students in the online learning environment.
• Meet weekly grading standards, deadlines, and timelines consistently.
• Provide timely responses to student queries and emails as per University guidelines.
• Model University values by supporting its Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Design, Distance Education, or related disciplines.
• Minimum: Master’s degree in one of the related fields plus expertise in two specialized areas.
• Must hold a valid state teaching certification.
• At least five years of experience in PreK-12 classroom teaching, or serving as a technology specialist or director of technology.
