Job description
About the Company
Home Heart Florida is a specialized pediatric home health agency based in the U.S., providing in-home medical care for children with complex conditions such as tracheostomies, ventilators, and feeding tubes, mainly across Florida. The agency is committed to supporting nurses in successfully starting their roles, minimizing delays caused by paperwork and administrative hurdles.
Job Overview
We are searching for a dedicated full-time Onboarding & Credentialing Coordinator located in the Philippines. This role requires personally guiding each newly hired U.S.-based nurse from the moment they receive an offer through to their first working shift while ensuring the nursing team's personnel records remain comprehensive and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage each nurse's progression from hiring to first shift by clearing any obstacles promptly.
- Proactively follow up on pending tasks such as background checks, fingerprinting, unsigned offers, missing documents, or inactive communications via text, email, and calls until resolved.
- Coordinate skills verification appointments with nursing directors, ensuring nurses arrive prepared.
- Maintain organized and audit-compliant personnel files for all nursing staff.
- Conduct follow-up check-ins with new nurses at 14, 30, and 90 days to offer support and promote retention.
- Keep the onboarding status tracker updated accurately to inform leadership about any delays and their causes.
- Provide weekly reports detailing the pace from offer acceptance to first shift commencement.
Work Schedule
This position involves working night shifts aligned with U.S. Eastern Time due to nurse availability for communications. Candidates familiar with BPO night shifts are well-suited for this schedule.
Candidate Profile
- At least two years of experience in onboarding, HR coordination, credentialing, compliance, staffing operations, or administrative roles requiring ownership of task completion.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to monitor over 50 individuals’ onboarding statuses simultaneously without oversight.
- Persistent yet personable communication style, comfortable with repeated follow-ups without being intrusive.
- Fluent written and spoken English skills.
- Reliable home office setup featuring a quiet space, fast and stable internet with a backup connection.
- Preferred but not mandatory: experience in U.S. healthcare credentialing or staffing, familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems, nursing or caregiving background, or Spanish language skills.
Compensation and Employment Details
This is a direct hire position paying $1,200 USD monthly, offering long-term employment directly with the U.S. company without intermediaries or agency fees. The role presents meaningful work by enabling nurses to reach their first shifts, thereby supporting care for children requiring home health services.
Application Instructions
Attention to detail is critical. Applications must include the following to be considered:
- The word "LIGHTHOUSE" at the very start of your application.
- A link to a two-minute video introduction in English sharing a detailed example of resolving a stalled task or unresponsive contact.
- A brief explanation of your method to track 50 nurses’ onboarding stages effectively.
- Your available working hours in U.S. Eastern Time.
- A link to your resume.
Submissions missing any of these items will not be reviewed. Qualified candidates will be invited for a 20-minute introductory call with the HR Director.
