Job Role and Responsibilities
The Senior English Instructor position is a full-time, on-site role located in Riyadh. The successful candidate will develop and deliver English lessons aligned to CEFR levels using interactive and student-centered teaching methods. Day-to-day duties include creating detailed lesson plans and appropriate instructional materials, conducting face-to-face classes for adult learners and young adults, assessing their progress thoroughly, and providing actionable feedback. Additional responsibilities include contributing to curriculum development, mentoring less experienced instructors, engaging in ongoing professional development, and fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong expertise in English language teaching and general pedagogical methods.
- Foundational understanding of education principles and curriculum execution.
- Excellent writing skills for developing teaching resources and impactful student feedback.
- Advanced English proficiency, equating to near-native or native fluency, along with proven classroom management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a closely related discipline; possession of teaching certifications such as CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience teaching CEFR-compliant courses and engaging with a diverse learner base of adults and young adults.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on-site in Riyadh.
