Key Responsibilities

• Carefully pick and assemble customer orders from different temperature zones, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Pack orders thoughtfully by verifying product selections, quantities, and codes to maintain order accuracy.
• Inspect products to select fresh, high-quality items and discard damaged or unsuitable goods.
• Complete necessary documentation such as pick slips and labeling accurately for shipment.
• Efficiently organize packing totes maximizing space without compromising product quality and safety.
• Provide helpful customer support and cooperate with team members to resolve any issues that arise during order fulfillment.
• Follow safety protocols and food hygiene standards by maintaining a clean workspace, promptly addressing spills, cleaning totes before use, and operating equipment safely.
• Show flexibility in scheduling by being open to shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational needs.
• Contribute ideas to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve customer satisfaction.

Work Environment Challenges

• Manage high volumes of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, overnight work environment while maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physically demanding activities such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs routinely and occasionally up to 50 lbs, and repetitive stocking and organizing.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of restocking and recovery tasks despite the demanding pace.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $16.50.
