Job description
Role overview
This position is part of the Loss Prevention & Security team at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha. The role focuses on protecting guests, employees, and property while supporting a safe, orderly, and luxurious hotel environment.
Key duties
- Patrol the property and support guest room access when needed.
- Watch CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and life-safety systems.
- Secure entrances when required and carry out routine physical hazard checks.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies, including contacting EMS or giving first aid/CPR when appropriate.
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and help manage disturbances.
- Escalate incidents, attacks, accidents, and other security events to the right people.
- Remove unwelcome individuals from the property without disrupting hotel operations.
- Attend vehicle accident and theft scenes and call for backup using the correct code responses.
- Prepare incident reports, shift summaries, and daily activity logs for all loss prevention matters.
- Keep security and property documentation confidential and share it only with authorized personnel.
- Investigate incidents, collect evidence, and interview relevant parties.

- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety rules at all times.
- Report injuries, accidents, and unsafe conditions to management.
- Complete required safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Protect company assets and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome guests professionally, support service needs, and assist guests with disabilities.
- Communicate clearly, prepare accurate written documents, and build strong working relationships.
- Meet quality standards and perform duties that require extended standing, sitting, walking, lifting, bending, climbing stairs, moving through tight areas, and working on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Be able to move quickly in response to work situations and handle objects of varying size and weight, including items up to 50 pounds alone and over 75 pounds with assistance.
- Use computers and point-of-sale systems to find and enter work-related information.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.
Eligibility and qualifications
This role is suitable for candidates with a high school diploma or GED equivalent. No prior related work experience is required, and no supervisory background is needed. There are no mandatory licenses or certifications listed, although some locations may require additional state licensing or registration to qualify for the role.
