About the Role

This position is part of the commercial/supply chain function and focuses on warehouse accuracy, stock control, and efficient service to internal users.

Job Purpose

• Follow the applicable procedures, standards, and role-specific responsibilities at all times.
• Carry out binning, picking, issuing, stock counts, cycle counts, and general housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispatch items requested by end users without unnecessary delay.
• Ensure warehouse materials are stored and handled correctly.
• Keep all stock transactions, including binning, issuing, and transfers, updated accurately and promptly in Pronto.
• Make sure issue paperwork is completed correctly and that records are properly maintained.
• Keep the work area safe, orderly, and clean.
• Safeguard inventory as well as warehouse tools and equipment such as forklifts, pallet stackers, and hand trucks.
• Ensure goods received from put-away are placed into the correct bin locations and reflected in the system where required.
• Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes, and resolve inventory variances or queries quickly.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Experience

You should bring at least two years of relevant experience in a supply chain-related environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 School Certificate or an equivalent qualification
• CIPS Certificate Level 3 or an equivalent certification
