Job Description
The Office Staff Recruiter & Onboarding Specialist is a vital member of the Admin HR team, managing full-cycle recruitment for office roles focused on non-exempt hourly positions across multiple locations in New York. The ideal candidate is energetic, familiar with recruiting processes, and thrives in a dynamic environment. They will lead recruitment efforts from job posting through onboarding, ensuring a smooth, professional, and compliant new hire experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for office-based roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.
- Manage recruiting tasks such as finalizing job descriptions, posting openings in the ATS, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and extending verbal offers.
- Conduct onboarding activities post-offer acceptance, including drafting offer letters, distributing new hire paperwork, initiating background and reference checks, scheduling orientation, and setting up employee profiles in HRIS.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience recruiting and onboarding hourly non-exempt employees; home care background preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems; experience with Workable is advantageous.
- Familiarity with popular job boards like Indeed and LinkedIn.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation and Location
Salary ranges from $65,000 to $70,000 annually, based on experience.
Work location: 1000 Gates Avenue, 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11221.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite.
