Job description
Role Overview
The OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) is responsible for escorting personnel without clearance into designated areas, overseeing their activities, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. This role involves logging entry and exit of contractors, conducting personnel counts pre and post-work, and communicating escort details to relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide escort services across a broad range of Local National and Other Country National personnel.
- Coordinate with LN/OCN staff at entry points post-processing, issuing exchange badges and briefing them on the facility's rules and protocols.
- Maintain escort from entry until daily tasks conclude, ensuring the area is secured by trained military personnel before personnel departure or return to camps.
- Prevent prohibited or contraband items such as weapons and drugs from entering the base.
- Continuously observe all escorted vehicles and individuals to safeguard their welfare and one’s own safety, including emergency evacuations if necessary.
- Promptly report hazardous working conditions to Project/Site Management and Safety teams.
- Uphold strict housekeeping standards in all areas of responsibility.
- Remain vigilant and ready to respond appropriately to any incidents, alerting proper personnel about any suspicious actions or remarks.
- Fulfill other duties as designated by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a US citizen with a preference for holding a valid US Passport.
- Possession of a valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Compliance with USCENTCOM Deployment Policy requirements as detailed in the USCENTCOM April 2023 modification to deployment policy.
- Ability to secure and maintain a valid Residency Visa in the host country.
- Capability to work in harsh environmental conditions including extreme heat and dust.
- Physical endurance to tolerate long working hours, varying weather, and potentially hazardous situations.
Additional Information
- Position involves 100% overseas deployment.
- Required security clearance level: NACI/Public Trust.
