About the Role
Friendly Senior Living is searching for a dedicated and experienced healthcare leader to undertake the role of Vice President & Administrator for The Friendly Home, a well-established nursing home and rehabilitation center with 181 residents, located in Rochester, NY. This senior executive position is pivotal for steering daily operations, fostering high-quality care and services, and contributing to the ongoing achievements of an esteemed senior care organization rooted in strong values centered on older adults and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight and leadership to essential clinical and service departments, ensuring operations are efficient, effective, and strictly compliant with regulations.
- Collaborate with the President, CFO, and department heads to create strategic directives, yearly operating plans, budgets, and capital development schemes.
- Design, implement, and oversee programs, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks aligned with organizational objectives.
- Drive quality assurance and maintain readiness for regulatory audits, complying with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Compile operational reports and keep executive leadership and the Board of Directors regularly informed.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting communication, staff development initiatives, new employee orientation, and continuous education.
- Enhance relationships with residents, their families, staff, and the wider community through visible and responsive leadership.
