Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector (Ministry of Defense, Saudi Arabia)

Overview

Greenland Group is hiring a Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Inspector for a Ministry of Defense assignment in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on carrying out inspection work using non-destructive methods to verify the condition and integrity of materials, welds, and structural components.

Inspection and Testing Duties

• Prepare, adjust, and run NDT instruments for inspection activities.
• Apply common testing techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT).
• Review results, study technical drawings, and judge whether inspected items meet acceptance standards or require corrective action.

Quality, Compliance, and Safety

• Carry out inspections in line with applicable safety practices, quality rules, and government regulations.
• Maintain careful attention to safe working methods while performing testing tasks.

Reporting and Coordination

• Record all procedures, observations, and findings accurately.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for engineers and clients.
• Work closely with clients, welders, and project managers to share progress and help close out structural or quality issues.

Education and Experience

A diploma in Mechanical discipline is required. Candidates should bring at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in overseas companies, group companies, automobile-related environments, or motor workshops.

Additional Information

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time, onsite role.

Monthly pay is stated in Bangladeshi Taka at approximately Tk. 130000 to Tk. 140000.
