About the Role
Greenland Group is seeking a Mechanical Technician to support operations at NADEC in Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the Red Meat or Food & Beverage industries. The role involves maintaining slaughterhouse electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure production safety, reliability, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of processing machines including conveyors, pumps, grinders, slicers, sealers, and other utilities.
- Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, facilitating prompt equipment repair to minimize downtime.
- Adhere strictly to lockout/tagout protocols as well as food safety and maintenance hygiene standards.
- Keep detailed maintenance logs, track spare parts consumption, and complete equipment inspection documentation.
Requirements
- Educational qualifications include a Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of six years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in industries such as training institutes, packaged food and beverage, overseas companies, conglomerates, or chemical industries is desirable.
- Familiarity with food processing and beverage preparation processes, especially in processed meat environments.
Compensation
The monthly salary offered ranges between Tk. 65,000 to 70,000.
