Role Overview
As the Night Porter at Hotel du Vin, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations throughout the night, from dusk until dawn. Your main focus will be managing the Food & Beverage Department during nighttime hours and maintaining high brand standards. This hands-on position involves welcoming guests warmly, managing public spaces to impeccable standards, and preparing event and meeting areas for the following day.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing guest arrivals by assisting with luggage and responding to inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in public areas through thorough cleaning and nightly safety audits.
- Setting up meeting and event spaces to meet readiness standards for daytime use.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess prior experience in a similar role, with essential experience working night shifts. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary to succeed.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
The position follows a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with flexibility to accommodate various shifts and days, including evenings and weekends due to the hotel’s seven-day-a-week, year-round operation. Shift details and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
