Job description
Role overview
We are looking for night hygiene staff to join a food production site in Anwick. This is a permanent full-time role focused on keeping the factory clean, safe, and compliant with hygiene and food safety requirements. The position is suited to someone with a background in cleaning or food manufacturing who is comfortable working nights in an active, hands-on environment.
The site is located on Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL.
Shift patterns
You can choose from one of the following night shift options:
- Shift A: Sunday 18:00-02:00, Monday to Thursday 22:00-06:00
- Shift B: Tuesday to Friday 22:00-06:00, Saturday 18:00-02:00
- Shift C: Friday and Monday 20:00-06:00, Saturday and Sunday 17:00-03:00
Key duties
- Carry out deep cleaning across factory areas and equipment, including production rooms, walls, floors, drains, work surfaces, and elevated areas.
- Strip down, clean, and rebuild production machinery used in chicken processing so it is ready for the next shift.
- Use industrial hoses and pressure washing equipment to clean machinery, conveyors, crates, and floors.
- Work safely at height using ladders to reach pipes, vents, and other difficult areas.
- Apply approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectants correctly, following COSHH and all safety instructions.
- Help maintain strict hygiene controls and food safety standards to reduce contamination risk.
- Flag any faults, leaks, blocked drains, or other maintenance and safety concerns to supervisors without delay.
- Complete cleaning schedules efficiently so production can restart on time.
- Follow all health and safety rules and use the required PPE, including protective clothing, gloves, boots, and eye protection.

Additional information
