Role overview

Pilgrim’s Europe is hiring Production Operatives for its food manufacturing site in Huntingdon, Norfolk, PE29 6FJ. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment, pays close attention to detail, and brings a practical, proactive attitude to work.

Pay and schedule

The position offers a competitive hourly wage, with the chance to earn more than £500 per week.

Working hours follow a two-week rotating pattern: two weeks from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, followed by two weeks from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

What the role involves

You will carry out appropriate tasks assigned by the Cell Leader or Shift Leader that support the production of prepared food products. A key part of the role is helping improve operational performance and efficiency through your own development and greater awareness of the production process. You will also be expected to work in line with the organisation’s mission, vision, values, and the Premier Provider Plan.

Knowledge, skills and experience

The role is suited to candidates who can work quickly and effectively, are open to training and personal development, and can contribute positively to a team environment. Strong communication skills and a constructive attitude toward change are important. Experience in chilled or frozen food manufacturing across different sites is desirable, as is prior manufacturing experience. A customer- and production-focused mindset is also valued.
