Job description
Overview
Pilgrim's Europe is hiring Hygiene Operatives for its Ruskington site. This is a permanent, full-time position on an afternoon shift, with a rotating weekly pattern. The role is based on a standard 45-hour working week.
Working pattern
You will work either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, with the rota changing every four weeks. The normal shift runs from 2:30 pm to 11:15 pm.
Role purpose
The role focuses on keeping work areas, machinery, and equipment cleaned to a very high standard, while making sure cleaning schedules are completed consistently and on time.
Key duties
You may work independently or as part of a team depending on the task assigned. The job can involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in both cold and warm environments. You must follow company rules and always comply with health and safety as well as food safety requirements.
Training and experience
Full training will be provided, including COSHH training so you can handle cleaning chemicals safely. Prior experience in a hygiene department would be helpful, but it is not required.
