Night Hygiene Operative

Overview

Sofina Foods invites applications for the position of Night Factory Hygiene Operative at their Malton facility. This role plays a critical part in guaranteeing the cleanliness and hygiene of the food manufacturing environment and supporting the safe production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily planned cleaning duties across different zones in the factory.
• Disassemble and sanitize machinery components, including machine heads and equipment parts.
• Clean processing machinery such as trays, tools, and production lines thoroughly.
• Upkeep stringent hygiene levels in preparation areas and conduct deep cleaning of production spaces as necessary.
• Conduct post-cleaning inspections to verify hygiene compliance.
• Follow all company Health & Safety and hygiene protocols diligently.
• Use and maintain personal protective equipment correctly at all times.
• Work efficiently under time constraints to complete cleaning assignments.
• Report any incidents, challenges, or environmental concerns promptly to supervisors.

Candidate Profile

• Displays strong self-motivation and takes initiative.
• Physically capable of lifting equipment and handling high-pressure cleaning equipment.
• Communicates effectively to understand technical cleaning instructions and report issues.
• Experience in hygiene operations or food manufacturing settings is advantageous.
• Flexible and able to operate safely across varying environments with proper PPE usage.
• Maintains composure under pressure while upholding rigorous hygiene standards.
