Role Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable General Operatives to join our production team at the Kilkenny Callan facility on the morning shift. This position involves playing an integral role in manufacturing top-quality pork and bacon products while strictly adhering to hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The role offers comprehensive onsite training to prepare you for success and development in a fast-moving food production setting.

Working Hours & Compensation

The role involves working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with a competitive hourly wage of €14.40.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate safely and efficiently across multiple production lines, adapting as required to varied speeds and task complexities.
• Ensure all machinery is used in compliance with food safety and health & safety guidelines.
• Assist with line setup and conduct material verifications in accordance with the daily production schedule.
• Carry out hygiene and safety checks prior to starting to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain consistent product quality and complete production tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and uphold company standards.
• Keep production areas clean, organized, and orderly.
• Proactively contribute to safety, quality improvements, and ongoing operational enhancement.

Candidate Profile

• Comfortable working in a chilled environment for prolonged periods.
• Physical ability to stand for over four hours and move independently across the production floor.
• Strong commitment to learning and work ethic; comprehensive training will be delivered.
