About the role
This is a permanent night-shift hygiene position based on site at Kober Foods in Cleckheaton, Bradford, within the protein site hygiene team. The role suits someone who enjoys operational hygiene work and wants to contribute to a busy, collaborative environment.
Shift and location
- Monday to Friday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am
- Onsite role at Kober Foods, Cleckheaton
- Permanent contract
What you will do
- Review and carry out cleaning methods and standards in line with best practice, customer expectations, and legal requirements.
- Follow safe working practices at all times.
- Inspect trap points carefully and make sure production lines are dry and ready to run.
- Complete deep-clean tasks where trained and authorised.
- Work cooperatively with the team and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and managers.
- Manage your time effectively so all cleaning stages are finished on schedule.
- Prepare the work area for production, including placing trays, liners, bins, tables, foot stands, and tray holders in the correct positions.
- Complete cleaning records, task sheets, and other required documentation.
- Escalate any equipment or machinery defects.
- Report health and safety concerns to the hygiene management team.
- Help reduce micro and allergen swab failures during equipment or area cleaning.
