Role overview
The Night Cleaner at Soho House is responsible for keeping the property clean, hygienic, and presentable for members, guests, and employees. This overnight position involves maintaining public spaces, dining areas, bars, offices, and operational back-of-house zones to a very high standard.
You may work on your own or with a small night team, with the aim of making sure the venue is fully prepared for the following day’s service.

Key responsibilities
- Clean public areas, offices, back-of-house spaces, washrooms, restaurants, and bars throughout the night.
- Carry out vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, and sanitising to the required standard.
- Complete deeper cleaning tasks that cannot be done during daytime service, including kitchens, carpets, and event areas.
- Restock toiletries, towels, and cleaning supplies when needed.
- Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety procedures at all times.
- Escalate any maintenance concerns or hazards noticed during the shift.
- Assist with rubbish disposal and recycling processes.
- Maintain a discreet and professional approach in areas used by members and guests.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will bring up to 2 years of experience in a busy, high-profile environment and an evident commitment to excellent service. You should be dependable, approachable, and comfortable contributing to a team focused on high standards.

- Prior experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial work is preferred.
- Good understanding of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.

Compensation
The pay rate for this position in the UK is £15.50 per hour. Pay in other locations may differ depending on local market conditions.
