Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive finance professionals who excel at delivering exceptional customer service and crafting innovative solutions for our guests. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting night audits and compiling summaries of rebates, paid outs, and daily revenue reports.

Key Duties

  • Review the Night Auditor’s Logbook for instructions from the Income Auditor.
  • Confirm approvals for complimentary rooms, late checkouts without charges, and day-use room fees.
  • Print the business call journal and ensure that all long-distance calls and faxes are backed by Business Calls Authorization vouchers.
  • Cross-check guest ledger charges from concessionaires against their summaries.
  • Examine the room rate variance report and post room and tax charges for the day.
  • Generate the daily Revenue Report including Today Gross and Budget and allocate service charges and taxes on room revenues.
  • Print and reconcile reports with supporting vouchers (e.g., visa income, 'Marhaba' charges, miscellaneous income).
  • Export Micros revenue data to Opera live system and perform pre-audit backups.
  • Run file maintenance and prepare the daily revenue report.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a degree in hotel management or accounting and possess a minimum of one year of prior experience working in a hotel setting. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, along with computer skills, are essential. Familiarity with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System software is advantageous.
