The role supports both Steigenberger Am Kanzleramt and IntercityHotel Am Hauptbahnhof in Berlin.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests with a friendly presence, handling late-night and early-morning check-ins and check-outs while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns, using local city and hotel knowledge to support bookings and arrangements for both in-house and external services.
- Prepare the daily close, including the required lists and files.
- Coordinate the front desk area and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
Profile
- Previous experience in hospitality or gastronomy is required.
- Strong complaint-handling ability and a solution-oriented mindset are important for maintaining a positive guest experience.
- You should have excellent intercultural communication and interpersonal skills.
- The position calls for flexibility, resilience, and good organisation, along with the ability to stay calm, helpful, and service-oriented under pressure.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required.
