About the Role
We are seeking a recently qualified accountant to join a prominent professional services firm specializing in entrepreneurial advisory for high-growth, founder-led companies across Ireland. This role offers a dynamic transition from standard accounting tasks to a commercially-driven advisory position, working closely with innovative businesses to influence their financial strategy, fundraising efforts, forecasting, and growth plans in a technologically advanced and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, monthly reports, and reconciliations for a diverse client portfolio of expanding businesses.
- Develop financial and key performance indicator (KPI) reports that provide insightful analysis aiding critical business decisions.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and readiness for fundraising activities.
- Build trusted relationships with business founders and finance teams to thoroughly understand and support their commercial goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements by leveraging automation and financial technologies.
- Collaborate extensively with tax, corporate advisory, and specialized departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Assist with onboarding new clients, including system evaluations and finance process reviews.
- Engage in continuous professional development focusing on financial reporting, commercial advisory, and emerging financial technologies.
Candidate Profile
- Holds ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experienced in practice, audit, outsourced accounting, advisory, or relevant industry roles.
- Passionate about working with SMEs, startups, or rapidly growing companies.
- Possesses strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
- Demonstrates a curious and proactive attitude with a keen interest in finance technology, automation, and process enhancement.
