Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled and adaptable Native New Zealand English Voice Actor Specialist to contribute to AI and machine learning work by producing clear, high-quality voice recordings. This role involves reading a range of scripts and delivering them with the right tone, pacing, and style while keeping a genuine New Zealand English accent.

Responsibilities
- Speak prepared scripts with crisp pronunciation, a natural flow, and the correct tone for the task.
- Deliver multiple vocal styles, emotions, and character voices as needed.
- Keep a genuine Native New Zealand English accent consistent unless the project specifies otherwise.
- Follow all pronunciation rules, recording instructions, and script notes carefully.
- Submit clean audio files with no background noise or technical defects.
- Check recordings for completeness, consistency, and accuracy before sending them in.
- Work to project deadlines and required recording volumes.
- Raise any unclear script points, technical problems, or recording difficulties with the project team.
- Stay professional and consistent across every recording session.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in New Zealand English.
- A true Native New Zealand English accent.
- Strong voice clarity, articulation, and pronunciation.
- Comfort shifting tone, pace, emotion, and delivery style to match project needs.
- Good reading comprehension and the ability to interpret scripts accurately.
- A dependable internet connection and a quiet place to record.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using online recording tools.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed directions.
Nice to Have
- Background in voice acting, voice-over, podcasting, broadcasting, or similar audio work.
- Experience recording content for AI, speech recognition, audiobooks, gaming, or media projects.
- Familiarity with audio recording and editing software.
- Access to professional-grade recording gear, including a quality microphone and a sound-treated space.
