Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Scottish English Voice Actor Specialist to contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives by providing high-quality voice recordings. The role requires delivering various scripts with diverse tones and speaking styles while ensuring an authentic native Scottish English accent. The ideal candidate possesses excellent vocal control, precise pronunciation, and natural delivery adhering to project guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Produce voice recordings with clear articulation, natural flow, and suitable tone.
Perform multiple speaking styles, emotional expressions, and character voices as per project demands.
Preserve a genuine native Scottish English accent throughout recordings except when otherwise specified.
Adhere strictly to pronunciation standards, script directives, and recording instructions.
Ensure audio recordings are high quality, free from background noise and technical disturbances.
Check recordings for accuracy, consistency, and completeness prior to submission.
Fulfill deadlines and meet recording targets efficiently.
Report any script uncertainties, technical challenges, or recording complications to the project team promptly.
Maintain professionalism and uniformity across all audio materials.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Native or near-native command of Scottish English with an authentic accent.
Exceptional vocal clarity, pronunciation, and articulation abilities.
Capability to adjust tone, speed, emotional nuance, and speaking manner to suit project objectives.
Strong comprehension and interpretation skills for accurately reading scripts.
Dependable internet access and availability of a quiet environment for recording.
Basic proficiency with computers and online recording platforms.
Self-driven with an ability to follow detailed procedural instructions independently.

Preferred Experience

Background in voice acting, voice-over, podcasting, broadcasting, or similar audio-related fields.
Experience providing recordings for AI applications, speech recognition, audiobooks, gaming, or media projects.
Familiarity with audio recording software and editing tools.
Possession of professional recording equipment such as a quality microphone and sound-treated space.
