Role Overview
The Neurodivergent Career Coach will support clients throughout their entire career progression—from identifying the best career directions to thriving in existing roles. This position involves collaborating with clients to develop tailored strategies that honor neurodivergent strengths, enhance executive functioning, and encourage sustainable development. The role offers flexibility while requiring active engagement with clients and team communication from Monday through Friday.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct individual coaching sessions and career assessments
- Create customized career plans and job search tactics using internal resources
- Assist with resume, LinkedIn profile, and cover letter preparation
- Offer interview coaching and guidance on workplace communication
- Monitor client progress and ensure accountability
- Maintain regular and prompt communication with clients throughout the week
- Participate in team meetings
- Establish clear goals, expectations, and boundaries with clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- Minimum of three years of experience in career coaching and counseling
- Demonstrated success in assisting clients with securing employment
- Experience in resume writing
- Proficient in setting and communicating clear expectations and boundaries respectfully
- Ability to respond promptly to clients and internal requests during weekdays
- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals
- Strong interpersonal, empathetic, and communication skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
- Familiarity with neurodivergent coaching methodologies and tools
