Role Overview
The Network Stocks Planning Team Leader will manage a small group of supply planners, overseeing daily onsite operations and multiple projects during a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves enhancing team performance, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring inventory and supply chain efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a team of stock planners to boost engagement and performance.
- Maintain ATP blocking codes in line with supply status, proactively addressing risks and notifying of supply disruptions.
- Drive network planning transformation by adopting improved operational procedures and eliminating process bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to review and authorize exceptions to standard age-on-sale policies.
- Act as the primary escalation contact for resolving supply interruptions caused by both internal and third-party issues, ensuring supplier performance standards are met.
- Track team service metrics and execute strategies to constantly fulfill organizational expectations.
- Promote a positive and proactive work culture within the team.
- Minimize inventory shrinkage by effectively managing and reporting surplus stock and provisions.
- Build and nurture strong working relationships with logistics, procurement, and customer service stakeholders.
- Travel to various company sites as required to support onsite team engagement.
Candidate Profile & Experience
- Experience in a comparable supply planning or FMCG environment.
- Previous first-line management experience, leading small teams.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC; advanced knowledge of APO is advantageous.
- Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and handle competing priorities.
- Adaptable to shifting demands and capable of independent decision-making.
- Strong communication skills to foster cross-functional cooperation.
- Highly meticulous with keen attention to detail.
