Netcleaner Maintenance Officer & Project Officer

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the role of Netcleaner Maintenance Officer. This role involves servicing and maintenance of Netcleaner equipment across various sites ranging from Electrona to Strahan. This full-time position is stationed at our Channel site in Electrona, Tasmania, and operates on a 2/2/3 shift roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on vessels and associated equipment to avoid malfunctions and resolve issues promptly.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Travel between multiple sites to facilitate maintenance tasks and assist project operations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to identify potential improvements and implement practical solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records documenting maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
• Strictly follow all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a secure workplace.
• Manage the sourcing and inventory of spare parts to guarantee their availability when required.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated competence in mechanical and hydraulic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Basic comprehension of electrical circuits within 12-24V systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills supported by meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of operating independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
• Committed to enforcing and upholding safety standards and company policies.
• Skills in welding and fabrication are essential for this role.
