Job description
About the Project
We are partnering with a key client to support training AI call center bots by collecting authentic speech samples. The objective is to improve the bots' understanding of various intonations, accents, and speaking rhythms.
Role and Responsibilities
- Record roughly 300 short phrases (utterances) in native Swiss French, saving each as an individual audio file.
- Contribute to enhancing call-center AI by providing diverse speech recordings.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be a native speaker of Swiss French; no previous voice recording or professional experience is necessary.
- Access to a PC equipped with a microphone.
- Willingness and ability to install and use Audacity, a free audio recording program, with provided setup guidance.
- A quiet space to produce recordings free from background noise.
Technical Details
- Audio files must be in single-channel WAV PCM format.
- Recording frequency set at 16 kHz.
- Each recording requires 0.5 seconds of silence at the start or end.
Additional Information
To guarantee a variety of voices and verify sound quality conditions, shortlisted applicants will be asked to submit a brief voice sample.
The project is expected to commence around May or June, though exact start times are pending.
Recordings are exclusively for AI training and will not be used commercially.
