Role Overview
The position of Lead – HR Business Partner (HRBP) for AND and Global Desi entails acting as the strategic HR collaborator to business leadership, spearheading people strategies and ensuring organizational effectiveness across all customer-facing functions nationwide. This role oversees HR responsibilities for retail outlets, area management, regional operations, visual merchandising, and additional frontend teams pan-India.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Brand, Retail, and Sales Leadership to boost business outcomes via robust workforce planning and people strategies.
- Manage the complete HR agenda for all frontend and customer-focused teams in AND and Global Desi retail stores throughout India.
- Lead talent acquisition initiatives for retail and regional divisions, ensuring timely hiring and sustained talent pipelines across multiple locations.
- Oversee GA processes such as performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership development programs.
- Cultivate a workplace culture marked by high engagement and performance through employee recognition, retention strategies, and capability development.
- Enforce excellent employee relations, adherence to organizational policies, statutory compliance, and HR governance requirements.
- Standardize HR operations across stores encompassing onboarding, induction, uniform allocation, employee record management, and enhancing overall employee experience.
- Regularly visit stores to identify business challenges, evaluate people management practices, and reinforce frontline employee engagement.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of four Regional HR Managers to guarantee seamless HR functions and implementation across regions.
- Track and analyze HR metrics including attrition rates, recruitment status, productivity levels, employee engagement, and compliance, applying corrective measures to advance business results.
Candidate Profile
- Educational Background: MBA or PGDM specializing in Human Resources from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Between 12 to 18 years in HR with a focus on Retail, Fashion, Lifestyle, Consumer goods, QSR, Hospitality, or managing large frontline workforces.
- Proven expertise in HR Business Partner roles at regional or national scopes.
- Experienced in handling geographically spread teams and multi-location operational HR management.
- Strong background in talent management and enhancing employee engagement.
