Job description

Role overview

This permanent full-time position in London supports the NARS national accounts team with day-to-day operational work while also taking direct responsibility for selected accounts. The role sits within the commercial accounts function and reports to the Senior National Account Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle daily administrative coordination for key accounts and provide support to the Senior National Account Manager and National Account Manager.
  • Assist with the setup and execution of retailer promotions and in-store activations.
  • Collect and assess weekly sell-out information, including store-level and new-launch performance, and share insights with the senior team.
  • Maintain retailer catalogues, inform partners about discontinued items, and help define the relevant sales packs.
  • Monitor launch readiness across elements such as pre-series, stock and visual merchandising, and keep retailers updated on progress.
  • Support the new store opening workflow from project submission through to store launch.
  • Check retailer orders for fulfilment or quota concerns and coordinate with the operations manager to resolve issues.
  • Manage retailer-specific excess lists, including obsolete stock and transfer orders.
  • Take ownership of selected accounts under supervision and support overall account management activity.
  • Create, present and deliver plans that help meet agreed retail and gross sales targets.
  • Secure orders for new launches and events.
  • Share brand updates and relevant news with retailers as required.
  • Build strong working relationships with key retail partners to strengthen the business partnership.
  • Help deliver retail and wholesale targets across assigned national accounts.
  • Drive sales performance through tailored account activity aligned to customer needs.
  • Track and forecast retail and wholesale results to support accurate planning.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Strong Excel skills are essential.
  • Previous experience in a comparable role is needed; beauty industry experience is a plus.
  • A good commercial mindset and the ability to influence business performance are important.
  • You should be able to manage time well and plan ahead for contingencies so targets are met.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills are required, with the flexibility to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • You must work well in a team and respond effectively to fast-changing priorities.
  • Excellent planning and organisational ability is expected.
