Role Summary

The Nail Technician position is a full-time, on-site role in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will deliver a range of manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, buffing, polishing, and enhancements, while following salon hygiene and safety practices. You will also consult with clients, suggest suitable treatments, create nail art, keep the workstation neat, manage appointments, and assist with other salon duties as needed.

Key Duties

• Perform manicure and pedicure services with attention to detail and consistency.
• Shape, buff, polish, and enhance nails according to client preferences.
• Speak with clients to understand what they want and recommend appropriate nail treatments.
• Create nail art designs and apply polish or gel in line with current trends.
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices at all times.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and ready for the next client.
• Coordinate with the salon team and support other services when required.
• Handle appointment flow efficiently and contribute to a pleasant client experience.
• Build positive relationships with clients through professional and courteous service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on ability in nail care, including manicure, pedicure, shaping, and basic nail treatments.
• Strong nail art capability with knowledge of design application, polish work, and gel finishes.
• Training in cosmetology or a related discipline is preferred, and nail technology certification is an advantage.
• Good customer service skills, with clear communication, active listening, and a polished client-facing manner.
• Solid understanding of sanitation and safety standards, with a commitment to a hygienic workspace.
• Comfortable working flexible hours, standing for long periods, and managing several bookings.
• Prior experience in a salon environment is beneficial.
• Basic English communication skills are useful, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, requiring direct client interaction in a salon setting.
