Seeking a remote music producer and mixing engineer to collaborate on a home-recorded album inspired by nature, healing, and spiritual practice themes. This non-commercial passion project requires a compassionate, patient partner to work flexibly alongside a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, shaping the album's sonic character, providing creative input, and mixing tracks within a slow, open-ended timeframe considering the artist’s health.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with the artist to develop and polish the sound and arrangement of each song.
Mix multiple tracks to a professional quality, suitable for personal use and archival purposes.
Suggest creative ideas concerning instrumentation, effects, and sonic elements aligned with album themes.
Maintain regular communication and adapt to a flexible, patient workflow, with potential for future collaborative work.
Offer feedback and technical assistance for home-recorded audio.

Candidate Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in music production and mixing, particularly with singer-songwriter or acoustic/ambient genres.
Skilled in using digital audio workstations such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, or Pro Tools.
Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative, supportive attitude.
