Position Overview

We are seeking a Spanish Music Specialist to work on a contract basis. This role involves accurate music transcription focusing on Spanish sung lyrics to assist a generative-music AI lab enhance their model's output.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe melodies by ear, capturing pitch, rhythm, key, tempo, and time signature precisely.
• Interpret sung Spanish lyrics, including accented and unclear words, with fluency.
• Collaborate asynchronously with an AI research lab to refine AI-generated music.
• Work independently while adhering to deadlines to improve AI performance.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in music or equivalent professional experience as a musician, composer, transcriber, engineer, or educator.
• Exhibit a strong aptitude for music transcription by ear.
• Fluent in Spanish to accurately process vocal lyrics.
