Job description
Qualifications
- Must have completed education to Leaving Certificate level or an equivalent qualification.
- Completion of customer or patient care courses is preferred.
- Possession of ECDL or an equivalent certification is advantageous.
- Successful completion of relevant training such as Manual Handling and infection control is desirable.
- Holding a QQI Level 5 Qualification or willingness to undertake such training if required.
Experience and Skills
- At least six months’ experience in a comparable role within a hospital or similar setting.
- Strong organizational capabilities paired with effective communication skills.
- Proactive with the ability to use initiative appropriately.
- Maintain professional and healthy working relationships with colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in liaising effectively with staff at various levels.
- Capable of responding suitably to different situations requiring attention.
- Experience interacting with the public is an added benefit.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development is desirable.
- Willingness to engage in team-oriented development, education, and training activities.
